Vintage/Modern Jazzmaster Set
A classic low output neck combined with an overwound thicker-sounding bridge for those want a bit more in the low-end and mids in the bridge position. Using flatter and wider flatwork these Jazzmaster pickups have the classic fat, chimey tone perfect for that surf or indie sound.
Using 42awg heavy formvar like they did in the late '50s and early '60s, the neck pickup is wound to approximately 7.8k and uses AlNiCo 5 magnets to provide a tighter low-end, while the bridge is wound to approximately 9.5k and uses AlNiCo 2 magnets to smooth out the top-end.
Available with white, cream or black covers.
As standard these pickups are lighty wax potted to allow a more open and detailed sound, but reduce the chances of any unwanted microphonic feedback.
