Vintage Telecaster Set
Based on the original 50s neck pickups, the neck pickup has smooth, bell-like highs and a full, round low-end. It has AlNiCo 5 magnets, and scatter-wound to about 7.5k with 43awg plain enamel wire.
The bridge pickup is loosely based on the original Broadcaster pickups with AlNiCo 3 magnets, and is scatter wound with 42awg plain enamel wire to roughly 7.5k to to create a clear, articulate pickup with plenty of that classic Telecaster twang.
Designed to blend together perfectly in the middle position, this set gives you versatility with great clarity and string definition.
They use cloth push-back hook up wire, and are reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum-cancelling in the middle position. If buying a single pickup, let me know if you would like a seperate ground wire for the bridge baseplate or neck cover, so you can make sure they have the correct phase to match any other pickup you may have installed.
As standard these pickups are lighty wax potted to allow a more open and detailed sound, but reduce the chances of any unwanted microphonic feedback caused by the cover or baseplate.
