These two arrived on my desk recently, both showing no output, which is not a great suprise for vintage Hofner pickups.

Once I got them apart, it was obvious that they were suffering from the coil corrosion common to this brand.

On the outer and inner winds the wire had corroded on both pickups, necessitating full rewinds.
